Some of the images of Katie Rees were posted on canada.com Wednesday evening, sparking headlines all over North America and prompting pagent officials to investigate.

" Katie Rees has been relieved of her duties as Miss Nevada USA 2007 " said Paula M. Shugart, president of the Miss Universe Organization, which owns the Miss USA pageant, according to the Associated Press.

GGD - Call me crazy but I though these sort of things are part of her duties? Who else would raise awareness for the dangers of drunken promiscuity if the active role models for teen girls dont go and get out of control??

First runner-up Helen Salas will assume the title and compete at the 2007 Miss USA pageant on March 23 in Los Angeles. GGD - I'm going to have to disagree, follow my logic: Miss USA represents young american women under a given age, if you have ever gone out to a bar/club/party/easter sunday dinner with eough of these goofy young bimbo's ..... this is inevitable. This is EXACTLY what Miss Teen USA & Miss USA represents.

On Tuesday, Trump announced that hard-partying Conner accused of underage drinking, drug use and promiscuous behaviour was going to enter rehab but will keep her title. Rees, 22, was crowned Miss Nevada in Las Vegas in October and was due to represent the state in the Miss USA pageant next spring."

How MADD can be so mad at Katie Blair escapes me given the fact that although she participated in some lewd acts and likely engaged in some underage beverage consumption. at some point in her life..... how that translates to the foundation to prevent kids from drinking and driving eludes me. MADD may need to rethink their mission statement and re-brand as OMCBG ( Overprotective Mothers C ock Blocking Guys ) .
