 
Paris Hilton is "teetering on the brink."
Law enforcement sources have told TMZ that Hilton has been crying a lot, praying and extremely withdrawn.
Hilton
is in the medical ward at Twin Towers, an L.A. County jail facility.
She is in a room by herself with a glass door. For her protection, a
sergeant guards the door at all times.
We're told Hilton hasn't eaten or slept since she arrived yesterday.
Sources
have described her condition today as "fragile" and "despondent." One
source called her "a train wreck" while another said she is "sullen and
withdrawn."
We've learned her shrink, Dr. Charles Sophy, spent
more than two hours with her this morning. Hilton's family can't visit
today. In the medical ward, families can only visit on Sundays and
Tuesdays.
We're told Hilton is receiving "appropriate medical attention." We're told she's being given psychotropic medication.

Paris Released From Jail ?! |
Paris Hilton is a free woman this morning after serving three days of
what was originally a 45-day sentence, the Web site TMZ.com reported.
3 DAYS?
So basically celebrity comes with priveleges that far exceed and outweigh those available to the common working fool. Violating probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case generally should carry some weight that is a bit more reaching then a three day stay in "solitary confinement.
3 Days = 3 Letters

Naomi Pleads Guilty For Cell Assault |
Naomi Campbell plead guilty for cell-phone assault against former maid. Campbell was ordered to pay Miss Scolavino a whopping $363 dollars to cover the latter’s medical expenses. Additionally she must perform five days of community service and attend a two day
anger management program. Apparantly, she got off easy after telling the judge the assault was unintentional, because she did not intend to crown her maid with. Well, what is there to say about the state of frivolous lawsuits when getting beaned upside the skull by a super model propelled device only nets you $363?? Had this been the first occurence of Campbell delivering corporal punishment upon staff; maybe just maybe it would be about right. However, given the ruckus Russell Crowe created by beaning a hotel worker with an ordinary telephone (albeit 10x in weight and mass) he made a settlement offer of 5 million dollars. Surely taking into account the difference in size, weight, and velocity of the said projectiles shouldnt Miss Scolavino be awarded at least a few hundred thousand...? Justice? I think not.
